    No, not mine.

If I recall correctly, your biggest complaint with your former bobber was that it was simply too slow for safety on Florida's roads. Just in case you're genuinely considering another, Cleveland Cyclewerks has the following speed parts available for their motors:

    1) 300cc big bore kit
    2) Weaver Rides ported, polished, and decked cylinder head
    3) Weaver Rides bored carburetor
    4) Street performance advance curve CDI with soft rev limiter
    5) or a Racing performance advance curve CDI specifically for land speed racing

The day after I posted that photo I begged a ride on a '76 T160 (the last year of the Triumph Trident, fraternal twin of the Rocket III). from a very kind friend. Yes, it is as fast as I remember it. And sounds fantastic. I want one. Worked out a deal with emmbeedee that if he finds the right 640 Adventure then I get a Rocket III. And so my search begins.....

Dresda- I know where there's a very nice (looking, at least) Trident that has been sitting in a most unlikely place for quite a while, ostensibly on sale, and I'll be going by there later today. I'll try to get some pics. Always happy to help out another girl-on-an-old-motorcycle!

Looking at the details I am quite sure it's a M200S.

In the cell-phone picture below is Wilma on her Maico M200T which is a bit earlier than the S-models.
The engine is the same but the frame and rear suspension are different.
The picture is from a camping trip to Wales in 2009.

That has to be an early 1950s bike, with the plunger rear suspension. The small front brake always defined the 200s.

    I owned a 1957 250 motocross bike years ago. 22 PS....

VH1's 18th sexiest artist of all time, closer to #1 in my book. So hot she traveled through time to pose with an Enertia.

Thanks Clarissa for these beautiful pictures.

From the same era here is one from a real lady adventurer also on a Bantam.
Last summer I read the reprint of her book on this trip. It is a good read.

That's no dog - it's an Airedale. The King of Terriers!

Our two wouldn't have sat on a motorcycle for long. :lol3

Yes you are right. The picture was taken in England just before crossing the border. From the moment we entered Wales it started raining and it didn't stop until we left Wales a few days later by crossing the Severn near Bristol (M4). It was not until we spend some time on the south coast of England that we dryed up completely. Still a very nice trip though.

    Cheers, Piet.

    And then, a few years later, in 1954 another Brittish lady, Brenda Collins made a similar trip with her Bantam;

That ad was done by Cooper Motors, the West coast importer in 1965 or 66. Gray International was the Eastern importer and was in Detroit. I worked part time for the owner uncrating and assembling bikes he retailed directly.
