I've been using Chrome and Google Earth 6.2 with no real issues. I got 20fps on the performance tester posted in the invite email. It's by no means buttery smooth, but it works just fine.

No problem with Chrome, really. What I don't understand is how to use all the symbols,
roads, signs, terrain etc. I am able to add a text for each point but not those symbols,
or they are not available on this Beta test? Also would it be possible to have a "switch"
button to have KM instead of Miles first? About the symbols, a legenda would be useful
for the non experts and maybe you could add other symbols, for example I could pass
you the ones used on the Italian Motorally Championship.
A lot are similar but there are other ones missing here.

Another little problem is when you print: you don't get distance and number of waypoints
and coordinates on the very first page

Anyway, a really excellent start, many thanks :clap

Drag and drop into the tulip box .. Im sure they will have more symbols..

one thing I would like to see is when you "hover" the pointer over a symbol it will pop up what it is.. and the ability to right click or drag and drop from my gallery ...

The tulip creation is the most consuming part for me. I converted a GPX route last night, 100 miles took me 3 hours or so.

A thought I had for tulip creation, is there a way to trace the actual corner or road detail on GE
and then drag it into the Tulip window of the RB. That would get the detail of each corner pretty spot on and possibly make things go quicker.

Now it works, before.. not.... who knows why! I think would nice to add symbols also in the right columns as well, you see them quite often in the various rally raids around the world, especially the danger signs so don't mess with proper route symbols

    Guys:

    Stuff in the pipeline:

Dragging icons into the right side frame
    Km - Mile toggle
Fix the wp and mileage in the printed header
    More Custom icons
Our developer is looking at a different file type (kml rather than gpx) that may load MUCH more quickly. (this should also make the program less browser dependent)
Improved waypoint editor design with easier access to road drawing tools and drag and drop simple text descriptions (left, stay left, straight, stay right, right)

My understanding is that drawing a tulip directly on top of the google earth image is very difficult technically. It's on my wish list, but towards the bottom as we add more (easier) features.

    Keep the feedback coming

Thanks for the opportunity to test out your software, it's been fun so far!

Another thought.... would it be possible to use your software to create smaller format enduro style roll charts for Turkey runs or actual enduro? I know it's not your focus but thought I would ask.

    OK

Win 7, Google Earth 6.2 and plug-in, Firefox with Ipc disabled. Speed check at 23.

Loaded a .gpx, it shows fine on the map. However, in the Rally Navagator pane, I guess get the "loading message" and the circular indicator - been like that for about 30 minutes.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

The WPs come up on the map, the gpx. file name shows in the RN section, but the loading keeps going. When I refresh, I get an "unresponsive script" message and the RN side won't scroll.

    Help

    Guys:

OK, we have good feedback and a hit list of items to refine-repair. Once we have some fixes online to show off, we will open up for more Beta Testers and new feedback.

It could be awhile as co-developer Dave (GSNorCal) is off the Dakar Rally till the end of the month...Lucky guy!

All current Beta users are encouraged to keep clicking around and sharing feedback in this forum and the Feedback app in Navigator.

    Stay tuned for release info.

    Thanks for the help.

I wanted to add I like how easy it is to go back in and add and subtract points and resave.. also when you are out of ink like I am i was able to print to my foxit pdf reader/writer and save it there.

    OK Great!! :D

I tried it in Chrome rather than Firefox - worked like a charm. Very fast. I guess my problems were with Firefox.

It's a great program - kudos, five stars!
