I have been giving your title problem some thought. If I rember you had the bike shipped as bike parts right?
and if you keep all your recipets for hippie machine work and motorcyle materials mabe you could title it as a special construction/ home built ? my suggestion is save every pice of paper then overload the dmv with a mountian of paper and they may give you a title to just get rid of you. That has worked with the IRS:evil

    Title

A first step title could be obtained in Arizona. My dad has plated his two stroke trials bike (no, im not sure why he bothered). They didn't even look at it, just took his money and handed him a plate. An Arizona plate might make it easier to get a Cali plate, although yall are in a bad way when it comes to emissions, etc.

No annual emissions testing or inspection of any kind for bikes in CA.

Maine is also another state that it's relatively easy to obtain a new title from. I see an unusual number of bikes in S.F. with Maine plates..

You are not kidding. Cuong, the guy we bought the Minsks from in Hanoi, also sold and rented Urals. They were super bad ass, and I still want one. But the Minsks were $450 each, and the Urals were something like $1500 each. Should. Have. Gotten. A. Ural.

I had Maine plates on my EX500 for a year. International Title Services licenses bikes through Maine because if they are 15yo or older, you don't need a title. Then, you just transfer plates and apply for a title in whatever state you are in. My EX500 didn't have a title and this was the easiest way to do it.

Mullet5... I'll be i can get those bikes titled in no time here in oklahoma... they'll be 2011 ASVE brand, and you'll have to pay the $100 tax on them but you can do it....

same way i street titled my '04 KTM 450... bad thing is now i have to pay higher taxes on it every year.

Custom build sheet, no big deal. couple hundred bucks total to get it all done in state fees and the tag.
