Good eye...yes it's a Fisher custom built seat. I love it, I was concerned with spending about the same amount of money for another cookie cutter one size fits all seat/seat kit. They asked the questions, I gave them the measurements they asked for on where I like to sit. The bike is much more fun to ride for long periods and pain is no longer a factor. They did a great job. Go to their site and check out the info sheet and order form...pretty detailed stuff. http://fishersaddlebags.com/seats.html Tech23
Bought myself a present for making it through nursing school. I slapped the new Acerbis tank on my DR yesterday.... and, yes, black IS the fastest color....
That is a very sweet DR650. What model is that tank bag? I looked at some Giant Loop bags at an event and they look very nice. Thanks Joe
Thanks Joe. It's the Giant Loop Fandango tank bag, and Mojavi saddle bag. Ive found them to be a great combo for my long day trips.
HugoBLISS didn't mention he also spent the summer doing medical work in India. Sorry that I didn't get to talk to you longer at the Bean Sunday. Welcome back...Ken
Not an exciting background, but the last one for me, as it has been sold, going to it's new owner Saturday. In it's more natural environment:

Yes, I'm afraid so. The DR650 is a good bike, as is my particular one, but we're focusing more on off-road, and with my limited skills, I need a lighter bike. Thinking KLX / WRR / DR-Z
i would never call the drz a light bike. had one, then got a crf250x. night and day difference in my riding style and ability on the crf compared to the z. way better offroad.
