Except for the cars in the background, these pictures could be from many many years ago.

    :D haha

Just got off from the phone with the restorers. He says that the frame has been inspected and has gone for painting. The motor has been rebuilt and re-buffed. Its shining now.

Gotta wait till this weekend for more pics. Thanks for looking.

Looking good. How about a pic of your finished exhaust?

Also,a question for you- What sort of mileage between rebuilds would be typical for your location ? Curious about how well the RE's hold up in the 'real world',where they're used and not pampered

I have had several RE's now all I can say is they can take whatever you throw at them. I'd never had a rebuild.....ever. And I have been through some really abominable road trips.

    Here's how the exhaust looks.

WOO HOO! Another custom by CJ cycles! If I lived where you do, I'd be doing the exact same thing.

Hey, do any of you metal workers out there know how the lip on the leading edge of the front fender in the picture above comes into being? I am making a fender for a '64 Triumph and I have it cut, but it is just cut- the edge is still sharp. How do you get the rounded "lip"? Is that something I can bring to a guy and ask to have done?

Keep up the good work Chanderjeet!
