I'm not sure what being from Bellevue has to do with it... but no, I'm afraid all we accept as payment are greenbacks...

Can anyone comment on the Colockum Road route from Ellensburg to Wenatchee? And I think I'm also in the group paying cash when I arrive, I hope that's not a problem.

Rocky. Rocks, rocks, and rocks underneath the rocks. Hot, dry, dusty.
Other than that, good ride with great views. The only caution I woul have is that there has been a large fire burning in the Reecer Creek area that has caused some road closures. Don't know it they're still in effect. Other than that, should be open and good riding.
What, exactly, was it you wanted to know?

I'm planning taking the little 100 cc bike to Wenatchee from North Bend OR. I'm trying to avoid riding on mountain pass roads with fast traffic and Hwy 97 between Ell'sburg and Wenatchee seems a bit fast. Is Colockum passable for a 60's vintage trailbike?

I've bought a GPS (Garmin 60Cx) but damn if I can figure out how to use it..... I think my maps aren't unlocked? Anyhoo, I was going to post some routes for people, but that's not going to happen. So, I plan on leading a ride or three, if anybody wants to follow an old slow fat with poor riding skills. I've got a couple nice rides in mind.

Not sure I'm going to be able to ride by then. I may be out or I may show up in the motorhome.

Hope you all have a great time! :thumb Can't make it this year.

That's a great area to ride and local stomping ground for Throttlethrill and a few others of us. I recognize all the pix. :D
