Would have to be worth big dollars with that build kit and condition.

Anyone know the size of this tank?

no where in particular. the point is, where cant i go with my new mods :rofl

guess i just like messin around
the biggest problem the xr has ( i reckon) is it luggage capacity. the biggest luggage capacity problem is fuel storage.alleviate the fuel storage problem and hopefully the lugage problem. when dougal and i went to the simpson earlier this year i had the safari tank and 2 x12l bladders strapped to my tank. the bike handled excellent with this load. when dougs bladder shit itself and i carried 1 x 10l jerry on the back, the bike was all over the shop, you can feel the sub frame bending and twisting. just waiting for the snap. with this tank the weight is central on the bike and is carried low. the ergos are better than the 25l safari tank. it is thinner where your knees go. the supports are stronger. apart from the minor issues iam having with the pipe location at the momnet i reckon its going to be very practical and usable.

Thats the acerbis 26lt,they are not a very well fitting tank, and very wide up top.I got a xr with that tank and the underseat 14lt acerbis combo,i have ridden a xr with the aqualine safari tank and it fits the bike better, acerbis made a stuff up on these tanks.

It was because of you i was asking. I wanted to see what type of mounting system was used to see what could be done to make it workable, or are you getting rid of the xr in favour of something else.

If it has the twin lights and is from gemany it'l be the same fairing. I couldnt be stuffed fitting it now. Perhaps seano will buy it, it'l match the biggun exhaust he bought off me.

As for the xrr, its still in the shed not getting used but i wont sell it just in case you come up to do the cape next year. But a mate is trying to sell me a 2009 Sherco 250 which would be nice...... The other half has still approved the harley purchase too.

On the acerbis. You could make it fit anything though im sure. I cut the lower wings off as it came with no brackets to attach them on the lower part of the tank. Do you want it?
