Those Tucano Urbano muffs (similar to mine) are made of neoprene, so they don't let the water in. One thing I've found good to keep your core warm is a Knox met-sysback protector - really keeps the heat trapped - not so great in the summer. I

Nice Kit, always amazes me how sh1tty the factory tool bags are now a days.

As for gloves, the best solution I found was crab fishing neoprene gloves in Oregon, they are like a wetsuit and designed to keep your hands warm (not dry). They soak through, but keep insulated when wet.

A cheaper alternative is two plastic bread bags, they seriously work.

I was wondering when you would chime in Luke.

Rocks would be nice....but way down here in south Louisiana we don't have rocks to stack, and the rocks we do have is gravel trucked in from a place that does have rocks.

Yeah, the Snowcross always seems to go on with made snow. It's raining now, rained last night. Can't quite remember last snowfall. Grim, indeed !! A cool-off is coming, but it's ugly out there right now. Winter used to mean something !

You aren't joking! I can remember when I was a youngin when my dad had to get a frontend-loader to move the snowbanks so he could continue to plow the driveway. Mid winter the snowbanks were 15-20 feet high and there would be 4 feet of snow in the yard. I am not sure the last time MN has had a good winter like that.

On a side note, I made it to Rustavi Georgia. Just south of Tbilisi. The road to Gudauri is snowed in so tomorrow I will put the KTM in the back of a pickup and make it to Gudauri. I met up with the guys from Team KTM Georgia and they are helping me out lots. Apparently we are going snow-biking on KTMs with tracks/skis tomorrow. I think this is going to be a very good winter here.
