Waterproof over gloves

I seem to remember a vender who sold oversized rubber gloves. Anyone point me in that direction? What about nylon over gloves?

Or you can go to any Northern Tools or similar place a get a large pair of rubber gloves (the chemical resistant type, not the medical exam type gloves) that would fit over your riding gloves for less than 5 bucks.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

I went all out and bough a pair of Aerostich lobster claws, they have served me well for the past 3-4 years and they are still going strong. The only issue with them is that they get a little slippery when wet. The cheap chemical resistant gloves come with a "sandpaper" finish to them that takes care of the slipperiness.<o></o>

In a pinch you can buy the "dish" gloves at any grocery store

Another vote for Aerostich lobster claws. They work and you always have them with you. Waterproof

i have those and they work as over gloves in rain only. if it gets cold and rainy, i would look for a more dedicated glove. Hope this helps.

I tried the chem gloves at Harbor Freight, they were to small when trying to put them over my gloves.

Sounds like a cool product, but what a crappy web site. Absolutely no up close pics of the gloves to show you anything about them.

+2 on the lobster claws. They have kept my hands warm and dry many times and they do pack small.

Also in a rainy pinch you can get plastic trucker fueling gloves for free at most truck stops by the diesel pumps to keep your hands dry.

I have a pair of XXL extra strong rubber gloves I bought on Ebay for around $4 (£2.50), they are under my seat and work great if I get caught out. Not that it happens often in Scotland as I usually wear winter gloves all year round!

LOL, the Highlands of Scotland = the Never Summer Land. Did a training course near Ben Nevis back in my Army days. Middle of summer and we froze!!

+1....I carry mine in my riding jacket pocket. Work great, had them for over 40,000 miles now.

+ another for Lobster Claws. Pack to nothing and I've had mine for years now. They are also easy to slip on or pull off while riding too.

If you get these gloves, get at least two sizes larger than what you wear, if you wear any sort of real protective armored gloves. I wear a size L gloves and the XL is WAAAAAYYYY too small.

So, if you have a size L glove, do you buy a L in the Claws, or do you need to go XL or XXL? Just wondering what size to buy.
