We added a 7 speed internal hub to it to help get us up the hills.

A nice collection, I never knew Bridgestone made bicycles, they stopped making motorcycles in about 1970.

On a sad note Alex Moulton died yesterday http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-wiltshire-20691388

    that's truly sad.

the guy who owned 2WTA (Paul) when i worked there had a Moulton bike we'd set up using every Campy Record part we could fit on it, just for giggles. seemed to be a very nice-riding bike; quite a few private pilots bought one to stow in the back of their planes.

I bought this Chinese cheapie when I arrived in Phuket over 9 years ago, and have used it most days since. It cost 3,200 Thai baht. Add the basket and lights for another 700 baht, and I had a great commuter. The campus where I teach is just 1 km from my apartment, and I use the bicycle for most trips within a 10 km radius, sometimes a bit more. Beyond that I use my motorcycle; I don't have a car.

Nothing fancy, it has a steel frame, no suspension and just six gears, however the rims are aluminium, and it has good cantilever brakes. It is well used; I am on my fourth set of tyres, and have replaced the chain and sprockets twice.

Half a foot thick of snow, kind of hard to ride but far from impossible and so much fun even if you are going super slow..

I am thinking of getting a new bike and this time trying an IGH. What say the asylum? Leaning towards a NuVinci 360. Anybody riding one and can "Show us" and tell us? Not trying to hijack but if you got one please show and tell.
