My bathroom is more complete, but I still wish I had scraped up some dough to go down with you all. Ah, well. Another time.

we'd hike into super cool places as boy scouts and make you sign in blood if you want the beta... signing in blood meant that you had to prick your finger with a pin and put your fingerprint on a nondisclosure contract stating that you won't reveal said awesomeness without the blessing of the givers.

Did H-man give the secret gpx handshake?!! Blood is required. we skinned harcus alive just a bit on his arm. You dont share that stuff once you're in the circle. this IS utah bro. We own you if you want the goods.

    Tough deal... steaks may help.

Anyone bored in South Jordan today? I'm stuck hanging around while the bike gets serviced.

South Jordan is hardly a cure for boredom.

I am heading Moab next Friday / Saturday (Thurs a Possibility) with Family for School Break. Plan on bringing Bike in Trailer to get a Ride in Friday / Sat or Both if anyone is up for a ride.

Nothing to Gnarly, Kane Creek or Gemini Bridges were on my mind as I have not done these runs before. Open to Ideas too.

And then... someone stole the GPS off my bike.
Dangit, I thought I was safe here.
Next I will have to start taking the key out of my bike. :rofl

I've got a buddy with LOUD akarapovic (sp?) pipes on his VStrom 1000 w/ the power commander etc, and I may pick up the bigger strom, but I'd need to quiet that thing down.

Does anyone know those pipes well? Can you get (most of) the power without the noise?

My wee-strom is on KSL for $3500 if you're interested.

The PO may have removed the inserts on the outlet end making it a bigger outlet & thus more noisy. You need to find replacements. Maybe an Akro dealer could help, who knows.

Hi Podinis, I'm doing a similar thing ... fam, dogs, trailer, bike ... Thu through Sun in the Moab area. Plans are a bit uncertain, but PM with your phone and maybe we can hookup.

Anyone riding this weekend? I'm going to try for a kitchen pass on Sunday if I can get all my farm work done.

I'm got maybe 500 miles left on my Dunlop MX71s for the 450... Any other recommendations that folks are thinking of?

only thoughts are not enough tire life in the rear, and coming off the Bridgestone 603 up front it had a little more bite up front for loose sand and desert that I liked..

Also unsure on 90/100 or 80/100 up front... Thinkinng of 80/100 up front to reduce weight...

I'd love peoples thoughts for other dual sport 450-550 dirtbike riders if you don't mind!
