I'll be seriously looking at making this my bike vacation this year...hoping i can swing a dirt bike this spring..but that too is up in the air for now.

I'll also look at mapping out some pure road rides for "Big Pigs" like my new bike.

I know the area south or E.R. really well...lots of fire roads and some great county roads.

    90% in. :D

More new riding experiences on the way.

This one is a 172 mile loop that takes in some nice riding on ATV trails and routes that are part of the Harrison Hills, Parrish Highlands, and Augustyn Springs systems.

The start is about 40 miles away from Eagle River. Some with smaller bikes may prefer to trailer down to a parking area along the route.

The west loop is 85 miles.

The east loop is 87 miles.

Longest gas is 45 miles. No trail pass required by bikes must be licensed dual sports.

Details and track can be downloaded here.

Here are five additional road/big bikes rides based out of the rally site.

There are some great points of interest on some of these routes. Open the files to check out the routes and waypoint POIs.

The five routes can be downloaded in this GPX.

This is a compilation of most of the road/big bike routes mapped out for the rally. There are many more dual sport tracks that are not shown on this map.

    In!
First time was this year and it is the best time I have ever had on a motorcycle. (Plus I ended up getting a Klim jacket for 30% off as a bonus)
    Thanks for doing this Bonebag!

Everyone will recieve confirmations tomorrow night...:D

Anyone think a Mustache competition is in order for the rally? Maybe with a cool alcohol related prize...or does that leave out the women folk too much?

    Bryan,

Thank you for continuing to develop new tracks in the area, this is a big part of why the rally is so successful.

I got your order hippy :D

I'm up north picking up my daughter and I left my list of pay at the door orders at home...so I figure it wouldn't be fair to send out and list confirmations without everyone included....No worries:deal:D

Thanks Tom! I've still got a bunch more scouting to do which will likely produce some additional dual sport tracks. I have scouting tracks ready to go, I just need to do the on-ground recon and validation. I think we are getting close to having more options for dual sport rides than there is time available during the rally to ride them.

New opportunities keeps things fresh. Although, some people chose to ride the Northern Highlands track five times or more last year. :D
I enjoy it every time myself.
