:confused I was sure I had this one figured out, but could not Google map it. I hate to ride to where I think it is without being more certain. The clue seems pretty good, but I am at a loss. How about another clue.

There is no street view for it. There are a couple of picture spots you can drop the street view guy on and see the buildings in my picture.:deal

    Check out this list http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U.S._state_slogans
Find the slogans for the 28th state in the Union. One of these is what you need to know to go to this tag.

Good luck enjoy the weekend. :ricky

:nod Thanks Ryan. I found it in about 10 seconds. I had been on the right track, but had the wrong town. Now, can I go get it without getting soaked?

    GRAB!

Old mercantile building in what used to be Lone Star, SC. I got the Texas hint right away and found
the town of Texas, SC. Yes. There really is a Texas, SC., but could not see any buildings like these.
Ryan's second clue was a no brainer - the Lone Star State. If you want to go see this place, take Lone
Star Rd. east right where the 33 and 267 come together. It's only about a half mile.
New tag up this afternoon sometime.

Continuing with the mercantile theme, here is the new tag:

This is a very well preserved example of an antebellum rural store and post office. The locals
say it was built around 1850 and was in use right into the 1960's. You'll fine a reservoir of
history in this area. Good luck and enjoy the ride.

:confused Hey! What's up with this tag? Does anybody need a clue or are you just too busy with other stuff to ride out and get it? If it doesn't get grabbed soon, I may just ride back there and grab it myself and place a new tag somewhere else. :uhoh

I've found it, and know where it is. If nobody beats me to it, I'll be riding out later this week sometime. Like the state game too, I've already grabbed a picture, just haven't posted because I don't have a fresh tag lined up. *evil*
By fresh, I mean... I'll be taking a day to get-away.

I also wanted to give the tags some time to sit. I don't want to be the one grabbing every second tag! Lol, you may have a 10 mile rule, I was thinking maybe every 3rd tag for myself, but I'm getting impatient :)

    Hey KLR Sam,
Glad to know that someone is out there and still playing the game. I go for tags as soon as I can, because I like to keep the game going. The more tagging - the more riding and I like to ride. The Beemer turned 33k on the ride today.
When I started playing this game I thought I might run out of interesting things to tag, but soon found out that there are a bazillion of them out there. Enjoy the ride.

New tag! This was the 'star' of my ride today. Bordering new the low-country, but barely within bounds the food was worth the trip! All you can eat country BBQ... buffet. Yes, buffet. Mmmm....

This also combines the two previous tags and adds food! More mercantile enjoyment.

You have to go to the location of the last photo ... post a photo of your bike there and then move the tag along with in the guidlines of location. See rules on first post.

    Have fun and good luck!

Welcome to the madness!! You've been lurking for a year and chose this thread for your first post? :clap Join in the fun on any of the state/national TAG games. I'm sure your K1200R could also help you snag Eggy or Nutzy, the mascots of the North American Tag and United States Tag. Have fun and be careful, eh?
