Starting from Split, a view towards Dugopolje Stoping on river Cetina, near Trilj In Bosnia, a little lake Mandak, mountain Tunica in background, very cold. I was aiming for the mountain Cincar, and a path leading to Kupres. Offroad starts in Livno. On the last pic you can see Livno city, mountain Tunica on left, Biokovo in the middle and Kamenica on right. As i get higher there is more and more snow, and very cold wind called "Bura". And so I had to turn back. and go home. On the way back, resting Cetina river again (and one wrong way)
Yes, Yes! Please continue! Your country is very beautiful. The rivers are pretty and the dogs are big! I like all the rocks WoodsChick
Ya, I like your style!! Reports like these make ADV the international site it is. Aventure is what you make it. Anywhere, anytime, any bike.
When the snow melted and that dogs went somewhere I was there again. Quite more friendly place, big fields, nice to drive, beutiful. The mountain is called Cincar (2006 m). Path leads to Kupres. highground 1200 m above sea and 100 km away from Adriatic Sea.
Very easy, and very close, if you need any detail info please ask. Croatia&Bosnia are great offRoad destinations if you know where to go. Thank you all for reading, it is very nice to awake these memories. Continuing now.
Missed the path to the lake and came above lake (lake is on 1500 m, and the peak is 1900m). It is a glacial lake.
Now a bit of Croatia. Highest peak of Croatia is on Dinara mountain and is called Sinjal. Sveti Jure peak Islands Brač, Hvar and Vis maybe. Svilaja mountain
Wow, in only 1 year? Croatia seems pretty similar to germany from the landscape.. and then.. the next pic it is totally different. I like the picture of the reflection on your helmet the most. Is that an "universal mounting kit" for different types of tires on that LADA? Never seen such thing before...
That's an old R4 isn't it. The Renault counterpart to the 2CV. That area is very beautiful. In the late 60's or early 70's I traveled to Zagreb and some coastal town. I vaguely remember a place called Biograd or similar sounding. The water was always crystal clear. Keep the pictures coming. Maybe one day I'll get to see it again.
