Cowboy wannabe .22 with Ray Johnson forged blade. Most utilitarian of all watches, the titanium Casio Sea Pathfinder. Digital compass, barometer, thermometer, etc. This watch has even survived an 80mph deer strike / get-off with just a few scrapes to show for it :evil

Does that have a 2428-2 or Myota movement in it? The resolution of the photo isn't high enough to read the inscription on the dial.

:thumb :thumb That is a beautiful Seamaster! it's mid 60's and so much nicer than the new ones with the useless gas valve.

That is a classic, and I like that better than any of the new ones.

    It's a 1967 with a 552 movement. A true classic.

I've got my old Seiko Navigator - it's about 22 years old

The battery typically lasts 5 years and I always sent it back to the authorized repair shop in Canada - but now that I'm in the states I'm not sure where best to send it to

I understand that being a 200m waterproof it has a nitrogen purge in it

Who have you had experience with in the states for the battery replacement

If it has an escape valve, you'll likely see it on the aide of the case. Not real common on a watch rated for 200M- moreso on 800-1000M rated pieces.

1000m? Wow. What the hell is the point of that?
    Marketing is everything I suppose...

Here's my other daily driver, but to be honest, feel kinda bad, haven't put it on since I got my Seamaster...

This one looks good as an outdoor watch...bright, big numbers, rubber band and stuff...but unfortunately too big for my tiny girly wrist. :cry

If anyone wants a copy of the 2010 wristwatch annual, send me a p.m.
and I'll mail it to you. It is a 425 page book that showcases models from many different brands. Shipping should be about $10.
