Hey guys,

Been working on the electrics on the bike - taking my time trying to get it just right...its hard keeping it neat under the hump, but it's getting there.

So all wires are run from back to front, hidden, and battery is connected, alarm has been wired in etc


At the back I have a key that will bypass the alarm unit if it were to fail...I know, I know it's easy to bypass but if you didnt know it was there one wouldnt know about it


Cables run under the seat/frame



The headlight bucket - SLOWLY getting there, slowly! Such a messy place to be :)


Oh and here is my headlight brackets to hold the bucket, nice stainless


I built a little bracket to host my Acewell and two switches, lights on/brights and a kill switch


I got my boxer metal rear sets on as well!

It is a bit messy but it all works! When the wire work is done under the seat it will look neater.

Next step (hopefully tonight) I'll run my wires through my left handlebar to get the horn and indicator buttons working and then run the two switches under my acewell to the headlight bucket as well...yew. Hopefully more pics to come tomorrow...and better ones.

wired my micro switches in to my left handle bar - button is the horn and three way switch for the indicators

So i finished my dashboard wiring..all looking mint




Then i remembered....doh!!

Whenever I am doing electrical work,I use my batt charger set at 2amps,high enough to check the work,low enough not to fry things.

my Acewell is up and running!

all lights work, indicators, neutral, oil pressure etc



now to tidy up the wiring and close off the headlight lamp!

On the nuts and bolts,a touch with a file to take care of the burrs,then a wire brush and they are looking new again

I have my handlebars sorted - with grips





im slightly confused with the fork setup at the top - only thing stopping the oil coming out is the end caps...


Painted my brake calipers - and baked them before mum got home...lookout!

Sorry for the lack of updating but here it is...

I put some clear coat over my decals and its hardened so i go to mounting my seat (i know the mounts are not straight - its meant to be like that!).











Then i put my tail light in...love this thing





And i got my dual brakes sorted...





and my brake splitter under the tank

Looking forward to more updates.
This should turn out to be a really good looking bike.

seat is done and mounted!

Never did anything along these lines before - being upholstery, but I had a crack and I reckon it looks sweet..and its comfortable with 60mm of super high density foam













Next steps (and nearly the last)

I have to mount my rear indicators, wire the indicators, license plate lights and brake lights. Hook my clutch cable up to the bars, wet sand/polish my tank, rebuild fuel taps, paint and mount my bikini fairing and front fender....life's good.
