Action shots? Do they count if the bike ain't in them?

Having a blast playing trials bike:

Getting loosened up and ready for a bit of woods riding (and annoyed at bonehead "we don't need no steenkin' gear" ATV riders who don't check their mirrors for 1/4 of a mile and wander from side to side of the road making passing nearly impossible").

Some things that are weird about helmet camera compared to my shots from the GS - one is that the suspension is so capable on the KTM that even when I get significant air it doesn't show in the video. Another is that when standing on the pegs the camera is way-way-WAY high off the ground (on the GS it was almost always mounted on the beak) so it looks like I'm going slower but I'm actually going a lot faster (top speed in the video according to the GPS was 67mph) And lastly you can't see it but when I goosed it hard after I passed the ATV the bike was completely sideways - like a speedway bike. The dang thing is so precise and so stable that it looks/sounds like I roosted the shit out of 'em but it was actually all going off to the side. All five or six cubic yards of soil I removed with one twist of the wrist :lol3

So, it's been a while since you got your SE, Manny. Where are YOUR action shots? I'm still waiting! :lol3 :lol3

p.s., you never explained your name. I suppose it has something to do with cigarettes, but the net part still has me puzzled.

    later, barry

    Hey Manny,

Your 'handle' may well be confusing many of the 'Yanks', because unlike the UK, 'fanny' is a euphemism for 'backside' in the U.S. So why anyone would want to refer to themselves as an 'Ass Magnet' is probably beyond the comprehension of most of the locals. It gave me a good laugh though. Thanks, and keep on using it:rofl

In the uk a fanny is a vagina.

    Hey Guys,

I'm looking for a dual sport bike, and my wife has a F650GS she loves. I'm looking for something with a little more dirt worthy characteristics, but I'd like to be able to add panniers. Has anyone done this yet on this bike? How are people's impressions of this bike on the road? Compared to?
