Had the same experience with Mrsposer at the Atlanta show. Of course she also sat on a guys TW this summer and liked it a lot too. Probably be getting her either one of those or an XT225. The 225 version is lighter and has a six speed but the 250 is styled better and has the rear disc and a few other nice features. But with Mrsposer being small the lighter 225 might be the better choice over the 250 that picked up considerable pork in the upgrade. Of course after getting her one I have no doubt that I'll want one of my own. I'm kinda torn between the three myself too.

I rode my wifes xt250, feels like a tricycle but performs like a much bigger bike. I'm pleased with the purcahse, I just need the wife to ride it.

I bought ours for my wife to learn on. Was going to get a KLX250 but there was no chance of her being able to touch ground comfortably on the KLX. After getting it , she rode it a few times but just wasn't that interested, maybe later. So I end up riding the little thing everywhere!

The XT 225 is not the 238lbs advertised. It is 268 including a turbocity tail rack. The XT250 is probably 10-15 heavier.

This is a great start...we need some more XT250 traffic on this thread.

Post them pictures, tell us about your bikes and what you do with them. This is a good place to get to know each other also.

    A winter shot for ya...

    New more better pics:

Few farkles -YZ HI Contours on adapters, Cycra Handguards, D606, Rear Stock MondoLamp replaced with LED Acerbis, Richochet Skid, all dead weight stripped.

Next Dump the mirrors - Dualstars or Cheapo Folding, LED mini blinkers, AIS gets kicked, BSR 29 Carb off a Raptor 250 (see one cheap LMK), Drill the baffles at least tho working on a silencer, Airbox something - what a maze, see what Racetech ends up with, fix the seat.

Nothing special to these photos, but wanted to share nonetheless. Two photos of my bike taken several months back. She's "The Little Bike That Could":
