I just bought a pair of those.

You shouldn't feel it penetrate at all. The PowerXross gloves have the Gore "Guaranteed To Keep You Dry" promise.

I'd get in touch with Klim.

yep going to...thought it was weird how all of a sudden they were soaked...well the clutch hand at least was soaked...had to actually use the blanket warmer we have at work for patients to dry them out for my ride home. :huh

You can run some tests at home with a garden hose to see what the problem is, which will he helpful when you contact Klim as they'll want more info about the problem than just that your hand got wet. If you can tell them in detail what is going wrong it will make the whole process faster and less painful.

    Huh.

I was really hoping these would be right.

I have yet to have a pair of motorcycle gloves that claimed to be "waterproof" that actually were. :bluduh

Find a glove thread and you'll probably see a rant from me about "waterproof" motorcycling gloves. :baldy

    Speaking of the Latitude jacket............:D

Ordered mine today, along with a few other things. I hope the XL size works for me, since the selection was back-ordered for large (doubtful), and 2X (possible).

    Thanks Neduro :clap

got new PowerXross gloves no problems with KLIM...they have leather palms...seem completely redone compared to my other pair and my partners pair. So far so good and have been in pouring rain. Seem a little warmer too. No pics yet on their web site showing my version but I will take some soon and show you all the difference. In any case back to topic. Anyone get their new Latitude yet?

Where'd you find an XL? Anymore online? I am seeing plenty of 2XL's but no-go for the L and XL.

    From Klim ! :D

The other day, they listed no large or 2X, but had XL (in the gray I wanted). I'm sure it changes as stock comes in and goes out.

Got mine on Friday. Pretty happy with it, but the tall collar will take a little getting used to. :D

The jacket material is much stiffer than I expected - does anyone know if it "breaks in" ? :ear

I received my Latitude Jacket/Pants last week.
I thought they were very stiff--wife even made a comment.
She said "let me take a look at the tag."
Just followed the directions on machine wash/dry. It definitely made a difference in the suits pliability.
Real nice gear I might add. Never owned Klim before.

    Cheers

I'd love to order a Latitude, but with the measurements below, I just don't think that it will fit me. :cry

The alternatives that I had in mind (where two of the principal 'wants' are Goretex and a waterproof outer shell) are the Alpinestars Durban and Dainese D-system - are there any other suits that I should have in mind?

    Sleeve 31”
    Chest 34”
    Waist 31”
    Hip/Seat 34”
    Inseam 39”

Inseam 39 inches?:eek1 Hmmmmmmmmm not sure but a custom pant...Areostitch? That is a very long inseam...I mean KLIM makes long pants but I think you are right that they will not fit.

I measured from the crotch to the floor (per the guide at Revzilla), but maybe that measurement should have been to my ankle. Some gear will fit me: a small jacket and medium pants for the Revit Sand fit me nicely, but I really wanted to have the Goretex/waterproof shell, because I'm planning to ride across most of SE Asia and expect rain and sweat to be issues.

Damn it - this impossibly lanky body always causes issues.

I'm determined to somehow make myself fit a Latitude or a Latitude fit me, so I called Klim and I think that pants can be solved, but the jacket remains to be seen. I'll see whether I can try a Traverse at the local distributor, and go from there. With a ride across Asia planned, I really do want that waterproof Goretex outer shell :)
