    I like!

I'm surprised that there ain't bonus points attached. I could think of a few on both Islands, that would keep you on your toes.

Never fear, all is well, we are alive in well in Rotoiti, enjoying the company of Clint and Rossie, and another touring motorcyclist , Nobby from Germany, drinking Hefeweizen Anno 25 beers:clap

Had a new trye fitted yesterday at Gisbourne Honda, a Shinko 705, very impressed, 600k's+ on tar and dirt,no problems, and $140NZ fitted including overnight freight!.

Came up the Waioeka Gorge hwy 2, brilliant, one of the best roads I have ridden in NZ.

I have shit loads of photo's of this road, just need to find the time.

On to Clint and Rosie on the edge of Lake Rotoiti.

Heidie needed some TLC, her sidestand had been bent when a dumb driver backed in to her in Napier.

Herr Doctor Discombobulator, resplendid in his attire, about to preform some work:D

Evil man, but does good work:D

And we finished off the day, after a great ride around the Lakes, with some very good beer from the Okere store:clap

Yeah mate, fine for KTM & coarse for BMW :evil

Was a mighty fine weekend! A few mods & repairs in the shed, lots of sunshine, a fun pootle around the local backroads, much yarning about motorbikes etc over a beer or 2, BBQ dinner, top company, superb! :1drink

    Cheers

I thinks he's raided the R80's tool roll and hung the contents on the wall.

I am not sure that KTMs can be fixed. The 990 that a friend has and is trying to sell, has had a surprising amount of things go wrong with it, in its short life. Judging by how popular they are that was probably just a bad one.

Anyway, it looks like you can never have enough side stands on a bike. I can see two, but who knows what's on the other side.

It did cross my mind that it might be a good idea to chop off the old stand & weld it back on t'other side for off camber parking situations :norton But by then the sun was shining so that project, & plans to drill some speed holes in the new sidestand pad were rapidly abandoned in favour of saddling up & taking the scenic route to the pub :1drink

McCardigan's doctor will be pleased to hear we have been witholding dessert & we even went for a walk yesterday. Although that good work was possibly undone by introducing him to Kaufbeuren's finest at Okere :D

    Cheers

Make him it the greens. He didn't at our place, you would have thought we trying to poison him with that salad. :-).

I recently had the pleasure of drinking some of this.

It can hold its own against any wheat beer. Farny Kristall Weizen, mit Flaschengaerung, that's a mouthful :-).

Any beer that hasn`t got Flaschengaerung is not worth drinking in my book. :1drink

I see Dulux was giving away 10 litres of jelly beans a while back if you bought some paint off them. They must of changed that promotion to 10 litres of paint we can't sell now.

love of the colour inside ya workshop. :lol3

Need to know some East Cape pubs. Got 3 days

Very mellow at Clint's at the moment:D

Back here Friday afternoon, to fit a new front tyre and a set of fork seals. Gotta wear at least 1200 k's off the front tyre to make it worth while changing:clap

    Life is good.

I see you made McCardigan sit on the "Wide Load" end of the workshop, how appropriate. :D He might want to attach the sign to his bike.
