Shot some birds with Big Cuz earlier in the month Ajay sneaked up on this doe on the ground Thursday and got her from 18 yards. Made the first batch of jerky today, yummy.
Here's a pic of an Elk my Dad shot up in Saskatchewan about 20yrs ago, it sat behind the wood pile for about 15 yrs. I have never scored it but she's a big one.I have to get around to doing a wall mount at some point. (BTW thats the rifle he used, good ole 30-06)
That was a couple-three months after my first back surgery. After driving 5 hours both ways and then hoisting it up, I was WAY out of gas. Of course Kate was doing most of the work after the shot, but it was no one-woman task.
