I have them, and they are very nice for sitting you upright with no wrist pressure.

I put the R&G bars on, and haven't had to test them yet in 60,000 miles.

An ounce of prevention keeps Murphy at bay!

I've heard nothing but good things about them. I used Murph's Risers and Wedges on mine and was VERY happy with them. I'm a big puss when it comes to weight on the wrists over several hundred miles.

tip over protection

I nearly dropped my Concours, put enough fear into me to order front and rear guards from MC Enterprises. Great product, hope I never get to test them out.

My girlfriend (new to motorcycles) was getting off the bike, and sort of jumped up off the right side peg to swing herself off the other side of the bike. I was not used to heavy bikes (have only owned 650 Yamahas, CB's, KZ's, Versys) and it took all I had to keep it upright. After a few lessons for her and some miles for me, I am more prepared for my bike. That being said, if it did go over, I'm not sure I could upright it myself unless conditions were nearly perfect.

Dropped mine the 1st day I had it. Took it off the center stand while not seated and it fell away from me. Best I could hope for was a gentle landing. Just a few scratches. Glad I got it out of thew way! Love the bike....it rips.

Exact thoughts on the first rock chip or bumper scrape on the new cars of the past. It's a universal feeling!

The good thing is the Kawasaki paint is so shitty you'll get that first chip out of the way on the ride home from the dealer's lot.

I had a flat on the front last spring not too far from my house and parked it off the road near the PPG parking lot.I called my wife and she came and picked me up and I brought back my trailer.When I got there my bike was on it's side I guess the flat made it lower and the slope stood it up straight anyway 2700.00 of damage..............should have put it on center stand.

I have the good looking canyon cages, not the big elephant ear ones like MikeH.

Never heard that before, but now that I have, it's never going away. Wait til I find my first Harley friend with crash bars...

Those are better but still pretty ugly.

I dropped my 2010 this year (yes, I got the beloved CDA #, lol). I was making a slow u turn and my wife leaned into it. I have the ugly MC Enterprises bars, and I almost took them off two days prior. They saved the bike. I have two quarter size scratches on my bars now, but the Tupperware was fine. They are staying on the bike now, they just paid for themselves. I might change out to the Canyon Cages for a more low profile look, but I really could care less what anyone else thinks my bike looks like. Besides at 85 mph, you don't really notice them.

When mine went over my wife threw out her foot and tried to hold on to the side bar trying to save it. I yelled, "Let it go!", knowing that if her foot became trapped it would snap her ankle quick. The bike came down near her foot, between the bar and the rear peg. It protected her foot. I don't want to have to field test these again.

Also, I tried to pick it up using the butt to the side of the seat and walk the bike up, yeah that didn't work. It took both of us to upright the bike. I might get a sheet of plywood to lay it down on and practice. Connie is a heavy bitch!
