    Thanks !

I only saw one other in that color scheme over all these years. Nice Two Brothers alloy can. Integrated LED tailight and blinkers. APE cam chain tensioner. Clip on bar risers. Only had 40k on it when sold last year.

Burned up 3 sets of Pilot Powers on the track with that old girl. Several thousand big western canyon miles passed under it too !

I think the 97 - 98's are the nicest of the F3's. Freddie Spencer was right when he called them a great all around track / canyon consumer bike !

Today I piucked up my new 2012 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 ABS. That's a mouthful. I can sum this bike up as the Stealth Cruise Missile. It is insanely smooth and power is ultra deceptive. Kawi did good on this bike and definitely see why it got MOTY for 2011.

Yea it was funny when I got on one of my favorite long stretch country back roads. I opened her up a little in 6th, maybe 3/4 throttle from 50 mph. I wanted to see what all the "7k buzz" talk was all about. I twist throttle and let it sort of build up to near 7k and the bike talked to me. She said "Hey, we're already hauling *** here but I'm about to reach the hyper-space power sector so pay attention!". I could tell there was a lot of bike up north of 7k! Can't wait until break-in is over so I can see what she was trying to warn me about :D. Personally I didn't find the bikes "buzz" annoying or intrustive at all. I come from big thumpers and big twins. Had a triple and several inline-4's. I think the "7k buzz" is just the bikes personality letting you know you are in its sweet spot for the transition from short shifter to speed muncher. I dig it's character! Lets me know the bike has a little soul to offer and not a snorefest snooze sewing machine of a bike.

It's in the freaking low 90's today so I'm going to get a ride in after the sun goes down. Check out the lighting and get splattered with lightning bugs on my visor. Trippy effect :)

The obligatory "0 miles" shot at the dealer this morning...
