OK... i've done the search... there are all sorts of Sporty threads including a picure thread for Caffeinated Sportys. There is not however, a general picture thread for the marque. So... if you've got 'em post 'em My two recent efforts with pretty much my favorite scooter: (clearly, I'm hooked on a theme )
BEST OVERALL FORTY-EIGHT CUSTOM PLACED NO.2: Road and Sport Motorcycles with JOKER 48 THE IMPORTANT SPECS: 136HP @ Rear Wheel Power 1/4 Mile: 10.578 Sec @ 131.92M/PH (212Km/H) http://kiwiridermagazine.blogspot.com/2011/02/road-sport-mcs-h-d-forty-eight-custom.html
Thanks for stepping up to the bar and creating this thread. And if I may say Mr. TerryTori, your effort shows amazing attitude and street cred. Wasn't particularly wowed by the bars at first, but somehow the overall package now really rocks. Please share whose handlebars they are and the gas tank rub panels, which are a wonderful historic motif. Just goes to show what a mature fellow with a set of twins in his stable can do. You should issue an IPO for creativity. Best, NYP797, Qns., NY
Terry, your bikes inspire the hell out of me. If you are ever in Florida or I take trip to Canada the beer is on me.
I'm liking the Florida idea a whole bunch... say ... around mid February. Thanks man I appreciate that hugely but if you find your ass up here, the barley pop is in me. It's the law here in Canada.
Hey NYP... the Bars are from Roland Sands Design... the knee pads from Mr. Lucky. Thanks for all the poitive vibes, man. terry
I'm not generally a fan of apehangers, but those Rolands Sands bars are excellent and really add to the bike's appearance...good job!
I don't even know where to start, so many awesome bikes(stock-mild-wild). Def will be keeping tabs on this thread.
Terry, That bike is hotness on a plate man. Don't get me wrong your current green bike is cool but old # 27 just does it for me.
I own my own stock 07 Roadster, but gotta say, Terry's is 'da Bomb'. It is muted but has great proportion. The special RSD bits, the solo saddle; even the lower mounted black turn indicators...the dark green color perfectly enhances the black frame, triple clamps, and gives an extemely tight appearance. Just, sayin..
I don't have a single non-cameraphone picture of my bike. Too damn busy riding it ....I'll be back, please continue. TT - I've been meaning to ask: Where'dya get the springer seat, and how many miles is it good for?
I'll post two of my bike...the first is from a few years ago just after I did a complete "resto mod" on it. The second is as it sits today (but I still have all the parts from the first pic safely stored...). I think I like the looks of the first pic better, but I like riding it more in its current state.
