^^^ You're close. You landed on the other side of the two faded tracks. I landed where you have me. FrontierCat's landed (maybe back wheel) to the right of where your front wheel landed. If you watch the slow moe (5 second mark) you can see what tracks were there and what tracks weren't when I came over the hill. I made the ones on the left of the picture, you have the middle, FC has the right. Boom, Boom, Boom - three fresh hard hits.
There are tracks in my pic that weren't there in your video. The witnesses drove right through the scene. My impact zone is between the faded tracks and the witness tracks in my pics and in John's pic. EDIT- I see now. I put my trajectory too far over. I'll fix it.
No way man, my bike left just the short track by the front of JJ's bike to where I hit DD. If you look at the 2nd vid at 3:06 to 3:08 you can see the straight track my bike took.. Okay, I'm done CSI-ing...
Well, I guess we all need HD helmet cams. Here are the rest of my pics. Rick brought a bike with a dirty carb. JumpJet and I spent quite a bit of time out on our own. Easy to lose the rest of the group in a place like Little Sahara. <iframe frameborder="0" scrolling="no" width="1280" height="720" src="https://api.smugmug.com/services/embed/2369742772_c7r4dx8?width=1280&height=720&albumId=28055137&albumKey=zk2NZ3"></iframe> <iframe frameborder="0" scrolling="no" width="1280" height="720" src="https://api.smugmug.com/services/embed/2369744381_VNvRB5x?width=1280&height=720"></iframe> You know it's a cold morning when you have frost on your sleeping bag. A cowhide helps to keep you warm. I was glad to be in the van with a 1500 watt heater.
Thanks to everyone for organizing, transporting, feeding, providing beer and hootch, entertainment with the Ranger, riding overwatch, tire changing, countless stories around the campfire, etc. This was just a fantastic trip with great riding. After all, anyone who knows me knows that sand is my favorite thing ... it might be now. Ride with the BEST!

Great report! I rode my old XT 350 out there from Enid several times while I was in pilot training in '98. Great times, but I took it a little easy as the bike had to get me back home each time. Psycho
Other than the Lemming crash- looks like a large time was had by all! Newner-How did the paddle work out for ya?
Great! I was thankful I had spooned it on. However it was the first time I felt like I could of used a little faster bike. Thanks for letting me use it, I will take it off this weekend and get it back to you.
None of the fallen riders went back for another go to stick the landing? Glad to see you are all still walking. for Little Dakar 2014.
