Have to say that's an odd location for the controller. Looks like it might crash into a tankbag on left lock. I put mine on one of the bolts on the handlebar cross brace.

Just the first place that came to mind and was easy. I don't care for tank bags, so the range is a non issue to me.

    pretty much.

FWIW they will shut off if your battery level gets low, they have a voltage cut off inbuilt ... also they will appear to not work well if the battery is not in good order.

LOL not so sure about that, I managed to drain the battery enough that I had to charge it a couple of hours to get it going.

They claim that (#6). Maybe, the voltage cutoff is too low for the Tiger or EFI bikes, in general.

Voltage cutoff on the 'premium' grip only. Flip a couple pages to the right and on the standard grip they don't make that claim.

The real question is do they plug into the OEM plug, anyone?

You can wire them into the switched circuit on the OE plug under the tank for the Triumph grips. Then it's no problem but.....That's all well & good but how do you turn them on and off while you're riding?

Yes, that's exactly the one I'm using on my Roadie, with a Heat-Troller wired into a pair of Hot Grips. Works perfectly.

Whilst I acknowledge that you'd be covering up the bling and hiding the pose factor but I'd be wrapping that in a shock sock straight away to help preserve it.
