    :rofl

Our bedroom wardrobe has NEVER been that tidy and I am sure that more than once there have been bats in my Man Castle!

Oh to have such self discipline.

(all meant in a light hearted way!)

Bird, in the pic showing the riding jackets, what is the white box mounted to the wall, with the white pvc pipe and metal pipe exiting the top?

Some sort of dehumidifier? I say that as I personally loved the sketchy way I dry my gear with a dehumidifier in a bathroom. :lol3

It's a tankless water heater. Looks like one of the better Bosch units, but I still prefer the Noritz units.

Photo sizes fixed - sorry about that - I just got in a hurry to post them up and didn't resize them.

Thanks for all the comments. It turned out better than I imagined. Still a few things to finish but it is pretty close to done. Started in February '09 and just now getting finished. The bad news is I pretty much skipped the '09 riding season with this going on.

The 1st photos show the outside. That whole building is the garage. It is free standing behind my house. The drive goes around the side of the house garage and back to the shop.

That is a Bosch tankless water heater in the closet. Haven't used it much yet since I haven't put the shower door in place but so far the little I've used it I like it.

    Bird, are you married?

If so, do you pick fights with the wife so you can stay in the garage? :lol3

My girlfriend is already mad - thought when we finished the garage I'd be back coming in the house in the evenings. Now I have no reason to go in the house (well, almost no reason!)

well done JBird, just wish I had the resources and I'd copy you! The southern garage program is awesome.

I tounament bass fish along with bikes and other time and $$ intensive hobbies. Some of the bass fishing sites have guys with grand man castles as well. All you're missing is a bay where you can pull in your boat hooked to your truck on one side then just drive out the other.

I saw the first pic--the john--and thought, shit, that's funny. Man castle is a john. I identify with that. Then I saw the rest of the pictures and was stunned. It's sweet and all, but you really took the word 'castle' seriously.

I'm so messy, I'd F that baby up in no time.

But regardless, very cool. Thanks for sharing. tom

What dimensions of a garage will give you 2800 sqr ft? 700 ft x 700ft? Eitherway, that's a pretty awesome garage. I'm digging all of them. :)

    700ft X 700ft would equal 490,000 sq feet..try something more like 60X40 or so...
That is the sweetest garage I have seen ...
