    Mark,

Can you give us a ballpark for when the new coolers with frame mount will be ready for ordering?

I am sorry this is taking so long. I have been working on this. I want to get these out to you guys as soon as I can.
I expect to see more mounts and guards this weekend. I am working on the revised instructions now.
If everything goes right, I hope to be shipping next week??? Cross your fingers.

Darn day job takes up too much of my oil cooler build time.:D

    Cheers, :freaky

What do I need to do to put my name down for one of the XR600R version?

    Thanks everybody for your patience.
The Revised XR650L Oil Cooler kit will be available very soon.
The new guard system is a direct replacement for the old guard and will be available as an upgrade.
A "lite" version will be available also. This will work on the NX650 and will be great for supermoto and street/light off-road.
I am working out the details for the XR600. I should have that ready right after the XR650L kits are released.
I will let everybody know when the kits are ready. I do not have a price yet, but I will it make as affordable as possible.
The coolers will be available in unpainted aluminum and black powder-cote.
    • A new oil line guide is in the works..
    • A thermostat by-pass valve is available as is the manual by-pass valve that I have been selling.
    • More info soon.
Here are some photos of the new design:

    Thanks Brian.

Here is the new oil line support. It will get rid of 6 parts... nut, bolt, washer, spacer, and clamps. Easier to install too. :clap

I'm sure you may know this but the XR600 kit would have to be a bit narrower than the XR650L kit. I noticed the left side cover looked to stick out further than the XR600R side cover and when you look up the part numbers for the bolts that hold it on the XR650L bolt is part number 90004-GHB-710 which is described as a "BOLT, FLANGE (6X40)" and the XR600R bolt is 90092-MG3-000 called "BOLT (6X35)" so it must be about 5mm wider. Since both the XR600R and XL600R side covers take the same bolt then one of your XR600R kits would probably fit up to my XL600R. Let us know when you have one available for I'd like to try one.

    .....photo from post#80 comfirms this.

"Well I have my cooler installed and running on my XR600. It's a beautifully made little thing. Apologies Mark for bolting it to such a ratty looking XR!

It seems to stand a bit further out than it would on an XRL."

It attaches to the original scoop mount on the XR650L.

Thank you bomber1965 for the photos.

Working on the instructions now. You can see how much easier this will be to install than the old design.

Have you heard or tried this on an XL model?

Such Beautiful work. If it didnt work on my bike, I may have to find something else to use it for.

    Thanks

He's working on an XR600R kit which should work on the XL. The XR650L has a wider side cover to accompany the electric stater drive, where the XR and XL do not. The XR mounts are the same and shares the same side cover as the XL. The only thing that may interfere is the factory XL skid plate. I hope to try one and do write up on it.
