My '93 CBR1000F. Bought it last year with about 25000 miles on it. Will probably trade it in on a new CB500X when they show up at the local dealer this summer.

Picked up a GSXR 1K titanium muffler from the salvage yard for $25:

Gonna try and mount it on my 06 F4i:



Some cutting and a connecting pipe fabrication maybe involved in the near future :

I know this is a pic thread, but I've looked everyplace for my book and on here to no avail.

I have an 82 cb750f/ss that I'm putting a new stator and cover on. The problem is I unhooked the brushes thinking the old stator would come out easily, I neglected to take my last name into account, MURPHY!

So, I ordered a new to me one from Brenda @ bikebarn, GREAT PLACE BTW!

In the mean time I had a brain fart, so can't remember which wire goes to which brush, one black, one white w/red stripe. Does it even matter? I HATE electrical problems!:dog:dog

Does anyone know, or have one apart they can look at? Major THANKS for your help guys, stay safe!

I recently let her sit a month without riding, (busy month, bla bla, I suck) and she started after less then 4 seconds of cranking.

However, I'm quite enamored of the modern cb1100.

That is a beautiful Nighthawk. You really should get it out and ride it more. These things are drying up and its hard to find one that is not used up these days. I am sorta on the fence between a good used one (if I ever find one) and a CB1100 which is going to be way more money. If I ever find a good nighthawk I am going to ride the wheels off of it.

It is rare to see one CBX out in the wild, but yesterday we had 3 together in one place.

Here is my 82 parked with a 1979 CBX. Later in the day another 1982 showed up. We rode the matching bikes out of the show together.
