I've always enjoys shooting panoramas. I try to take at least one on every trip, but sometimes there are no reasonable opportunities for those shots. Here is a preview of the large collection of panoramas i have taken. All of them are shot with a simple point and shoot canon camera thats over 5 years old. only editing is the stitching of the photos and some blending at the photo seams. I know i cant compare with many of the fantastic shots in this thread...but here it goes: Cannon Ski Mtn, Maine NYC Skyline from Brooklyn Bridge Park Along the northern section of the PDR in Vermont Big Bend National Park, TX Lake Mead, NV Kings Canyon National Park, CA North Cascades National Park, WA Great Sand Dunes National Park, CO Hope you all enjoy. I will post more here as my travels continue.
While I envy some of you the warm weather you are still experiencing, the beauty that comes with the below zero temperatures makes up for a lot of the discomfort. The skies are a deeper blue, and the white come all the way down the mountains now.
I've taken a few pictures in my time and have a real appreciation for your skills with shutter and lens. This is just spectacular! Thanks for sharing. Mike
Beautiful! I would love to be back in Alaska! Someday! GSteve, is this taken from Alstrom Point? If not, where? Wonderful shot.
