It looks even better when it's dirty :deal

Judging by all the "sponsorship" all over it, I think it may be a freeby!! :lol3

Couldn't get the bike in the same photo, so imagine turning around from this dinner picnic spot on the upper Potomac River and climbing over the berm of the C&O canal to see it...

Just a great evening for a shot. Note the water ripple from the fish hitting near us.
Yeah, living near DC is tough.

GrahamD, I agree with you, now is too clean… you’ll see in two weeks!!

I know its an advert bike! but I’m very grateful to our sponsors.
Since 2007 we are doing an off road trip with big trail bikes crossing the Iberica Peninsula (Spain and Portugal). This trip is well known in Spain and there is a media covering, so in the last years we have some sponsoring.
Since now they where only BMW GS but this year, thanks to the interest of Yamaha Spain and specially the dealer Motos Ausió, there are 2 Yamaha ST, one is mine.
This year we change countries and we are going to surround Sardinia. We start next Friday, I’m very exited! (www.transiberica.info).

I am interested in peeping out one of these here Yamahaha bikes. Next time you are in the Boonsboro, Sharpsburg, or Shepherdtown area drop me a line? I live in Boonsboro, and would ride out to check your machine out.

I ride across that river everyday. This is a terrible area to live in if you ride......... No good roads, scenery, or weather...

Alegany and I chose a route that offers a taste of much of what WV roads have to offer. Roads varied from twisty two lane mountain highway to a winding waterway valley to paved one lane backways and miles and miles of timber company and Monongahela forest service roads. We found ourselves deep into the heart of Alegany’s namesake mountains at what can only be described as West Virginia’s ceiling as our near backcountry journey took us in the province of Red Spruce, black bear, mountain lion, fisher and varying hare. Closing the loop gave us a little taste of WVs BRP and Cherohala Skyway in the form of U.S. 219 and WV 150 the Highland Scenic Highway. We even had a sample of one of many WV Dragons along Woodrow Road near Edray.
After much map study and having a general sense of how the mountains lay where I was born and will someday die; we set off using the explorer’s time tested method of following one’s nose. We passed through a gap at elevations higher than 4000’ that is the birthplace of three major drainages. Wildlife encountered included a grouse, deer, a humongous pile of fresh black bear scat and a few Golden Rainbow and Rainbow trout.
It was a great day to Tenere!

I'm not a huge fan of B&W photography, but it just seemed right here

Some good eastern Sierra two track to remind me why I bought a bike that likes a little dirt.

And of course a lesson in humility, seems not all of those rocks are embedded :lol3. Don't worry, the bush was like a pillow.

Thanks, and yes the Jesses sure do give a better angle for picking it up :lol3

Something about the desert screams for B&W and sometimes I try for the Ansel Adams feeling in Yosemite, but other than that I'm a color guy. Kind of like riding a vintage bike, fun in small doses but I'd rather ride a modern machine most of the time :D

    Thanks,
