Tires are Continental TCK 80 (M+S), stock sizes (here in Italy you may encounter several problems with police and insurance if you ride with non-stock tire sizes).
Not bad tires , but a little bit dangerous on pavement if wet.

Note that I use tubeless wheels (Alpina STS System, like on Guzzi Stelvio), I don't know how this tires are on stock tubetype wheels... but think the same.

Bitubo shocks, after setup of correct SAG, are perfect for me. Suspensions works correctly and comfortable. I tried other shocks (cheaper than Bitubo) but this are better.
I coupled this shocks with pressurized cartridge (Bitubo too) on front.

I paid sticker for my new FY12 scrambler (Feb of FY12). I got first maintenance thrown in, but with the demand for them I couldn't get them to budge. Will vary some I think from store to store based on inventory.

I could have gotten a better deal on a Tiger, but I wanted a scram.

I just bought a 2012 Scram from a place in Asheville, NC. They were great to work with and were able to work with me on the price.

You get style points by paying cash, however as a general rule, no extra discount from a dealer by doing so, as that "deprives" the dealer of making any money on the financing...

I have ridden with the bike, without a chaintensioner.
    It can be done.
Butt if you should for example jump the bike, the chain can hit the frame and the swingarm.
I had made a nylon chainroller to protect the frame.

Hello guys. Has anyone ever replaced their stock mirrors with those cheapo round emgo mirrors? I'm thinking of buying a pair because they are so cheap but I'm concerned that they may not properly thread into the holes of our brake levers, the way the stock ones do. i would appreciate any thoughts on this situation. Thanks!

From my perspective that is a favorable improvement. What, if anything, was done to prep the chrome?

    Sorry I don't know.
When I brought it to the powder coat guys, it was chrome.
And when it came back it was black:D

I have the Bitubo cartridge in front too. My spring rate is .85 and I weigh 195 lbs.

Can you tell me what your spring rate is? And, how many turns in from zero preload are you running? (the preload range is 0 to 15 turns, I believe).

I weigh 170 lbs: with the same spring rate (.85) I have kept the preload at zero.

Think the rack has been sanblasted, before powder coating.
Congratulations! Looks very nice! I like the seat too..

    Thanks Extreme...
Yesterday I measured with 340mm shocks (Bonnie) and 360mm shocks (Scrambler): there is only a little difference, I hope that with 390mm shocks there is no need to add a chainroller.

In any case, I think that at first I'll can try with a rear sprocket bigger.

I ruined my rear pegs in an accident a while back. But now want to carry a passenger. The cost of new rear pegs is $300+. Is there a better solution - all I have left is the holes where the peg holder bolted on.

......Ok I found some replacement pegs which might work. They come with 10mm and 12mm bolts. Does anyone know the diameter of holes for the rear pegs- I think they may be 8mm but not sure. I may have to drill them out.

Like a lot of fellow Scrambler owners, I am looking for a saddlebag solution that will be functional as well as stylish - that is to enhance the look of the bike. I came across a product from Klicbag and was wondering if anyone had gone this route and had some photos to share - the pics on their website do not show the bag on a Scrambler - would appreciate any info. Thanks.

The diameter of holes, just measured, is 10mm.

But... $300 for the stock rear footrests? Look here http://www.worldoftriumph.com/trium...hp?block_01=&block_02=1000581&block_03=233015

I think that 390mm shocks won't give you any problems.
You might have to change the front and rear sprocket.
I use 435mm shocks and lengthened the swingarm 49mm.
This gives it a 260mm ground clearance.
