I picked up this 75' Norton a few months ago and then decided to do a frame up on it after sorting through all the oil leaks. After going through the complete bike I am putting it back with a few updates, probably be a week before it will be on the road
got lucky and picked this up for a great price last summer, most enjoyable bike I've owned out of 9 so far and the one I'll never sell...
This Trident has well loved written all over it. Every part, scuff, and mark tells this bikes story over the last 40 years. I just love it.
I'm with ya. Nothin'' fancy/shiney, but no dents, no rust, no baling wire, no missing spokes, etc. Clean motor, good tires, lubed chain. Very nice example of a bike that looks like it's appreciated for what it is and does. Love it. Doesn't hurt that I love Tridents either.
Thanks for the comments on my Trident guys. i have had many bikes have a interesting stable even now . I really love this bike . puts a grin on my face just starting it up. and i do ride it . (need tires) but a blast on this equals many other bikes and rides that i do .
Cool bikes - one of these days I'm going to buy myself a Ducati, I can feel a mid life crisis coming on already. But first a I need to find a camera that takes pictures two years into the future!
I got that camera when I bought my DeLorean...... it was in the glove box. Funny thing, I have had the camera for 10 years and still can't change the date.....WTF ????
a '77 R100RS without the second R....:huh https://picasaweb.google.com/105496165984553087128/December72011#5683460371478010402
