8 years and 60000 kilometers and I still enjoy each ride like the very first - what a bike!

    Well, mine sucks.

It keeps me from enjoying work, that makes me more money so I can go ride more.
It keeps me from doing work around the house, so the lawn gets a bit long.
It keeps me from my old Honda Shadow, so it's now a hulk of tired old parts with no hope for replacing.
It makes my knees hurt, with all the new skills Jimmy Lewis taught me at this year's KTM Rally.
It keeps me buying new shoes constantly for this expensive mistress....

    Yep. It just sucks.

You know when you cut the grass it just grows back. It's a never-ending game of cutting and growing, the only way to win is not to play. :deal :lol3

    Oh, I expected it...
...I expected it the very the moment I looked up after I half-assed landed that water-bar that I didn't see,
    waa-aay, waa-aay off balance,
.....and promptly grabbed a BIG handful of THROTTLE in my feeble attempt to hang onto this big locomotive of a bike.

But, the fact that I got away with this error,
with only a dangly blinker (not actually broken) and a bent Jesse Pannier,....
THIS is truly why I LOVE this beast of a bike.

If it was a GS, Explorer, MultiStrada or a Tenere, I probly woulda had to call my insurance company,...and a tow truck :lol3
Good ridin' with ya, and thanks for helping me haul it back onto the road :norton

I love mine too. She's sitting next to me while I fix the washing machine. Begging me to take her out for a drink, rough her up and ride her hard.

    Sorry baby, maybe later...

...and I just joined you, rofl! Just went for the first ride on my new beasty. Good f$^#ing God! I only thought that I had ridden before. I went through a set of corners that I do regularly on my trusty old plated XR600R at about 50-60mph. I felt very comfortable, until I looked down after accelerating out of the last one and realized I was going a bit over 100mph!!! Again...Good f#$%cking God!. I can't wait to get this thing in the dirt, lol. :eek1 I am hooked for life, and I thank you all here on Orange Crush for helping me make the decision to become one of you sickos. :freaky
