Poolside is in training to be a full fledged marketeer. Its an uphill struggle because the whole concept of 'It’s a feature not a fault' is so foreign to the engineering and designer mindset… :evil

In the IT industry we sell it as 'an undocumented feature' .

In the motorcycle industry I guess getting the marketing right is important.

It's not a fault, it adds "character".

:D Along those lines, since the upcoming products use a microcontroller, we were thinking about the possibility of an 'easter egg' of sorts.

And no I don't want to talk to JJ. All he is going to say is ....

Well, I just pulled the trigger on snapping up 10% of the remaining stock.
    (That would be 2 units...)

The $157.50 for both units is about equivelant to 5-6 tanks of fuel (1,300-1,500 miles), which I can easily burn through on a long weekend of riding to a rally and back.

    So, marketing;
Any word on when the final batch of these will be completed and shipped?
I am planning a long tour up the Trans-Labrador highway in July-August.
Will I be running with "Air" on that trip???

    Thanks!

Just make sure that it is one that we can find easily.
I remember coming across a forgotten easter egg weeks later once.
    It wasn't pretty...

Since then the family uses nothing but plastic eggs, and we are sure to check the count before hiding and after to ensure there aren't any 'stragglers' left behind anymore. :deal

Do you guys have a website where I can go to learn more about your IICE Air product? Also do you have a status update on the add-on products and how they will work together? Thanks.

    Computer-related Easter eggs

Easter eggs are messages...or an unusual change in program behavior that sometimes occur in a software program in response to some undocumented set of commands, mouse clicks, keystrokes or other stimuli intended as a joke or to display program credits.
