Yup, that's the Cack in Aneth, UT. Vermin rides that bike in an effortless manner that's sorta hard to believe....

And yes, it's a PC 800 with extensive mods....

OK so this is off subject (sort of) is Cack still out on the road? That bike has seen it all and some.

Now back on subject. I know this has already been covered but I'll ask anyway. Can you suggest a good free starter HDR program? I downloaded gimp but didn't understand it so I deleted it. I bought a Cannon S100 with a HDR setting but I haven't completely figure it out yet. It seems to be only taking two shots although it clicks three times like it's taking three shots. I'm sure it's user error (lack of understanding). :lol3

I like HDR photos so I want to learn how to make them.

Hi LadyBug, the software disc that came with my Canon included an HDR tool that is pretty straightforward. It's on the Digital Photo Professional application under the tool tab.

Photomatix is free to download and use as long as you like. It watermarks the pictures until such time as you buy it.

Yep, the Cack is still rolling. We covered around 1200 miles including some 3" deep snow on top of Grand Mesa, 80 degree temps in Aneth and a beautiful day over US550 to the Lower Hermosa Creek Campground. I have some pictures of him riding up Moki Dugway as well. He rides the wheels off that thing.

I like Photomatix, they have a trial version IIRC. Dave has recommended Photomatix Pro. There's an online tutorial I found really helpful as well but I can't remember the link.

Edit: - Here it is: http://www.stuckincustoms.com/hdr-tutorial/

In the link there's a discount for Photomatix that saves ya a couple bucks. I'll find it or someone will post it up...

WOW Cack is still rolling.... I had a PC800 and found it to be the most boring motorcycle I ever owned but I also disliked all the plastic and was overly careful with it because it didn't take much to break that plastic. I will admit it handled like a dream on gravel and dirt which surprised me.

Thanks for the link. I'll get this HDR thing figured out yet. I know I'm making it more difficult than it is which is normal for me. :lol3

Thanks. I'm headed out riding for four day in the morning. I plan to take some photos to play with when I get home. Hopefully I will come up with something to share with everyone.

Thanks everyone for sharing your photos and those of you who have shared tips and especially Dave for starting this thread. I love it. :clap
