You know that little two pump station in Marine?

They've got it. And you get a nice short ride out of the deal.

It's fairly easy to find. My local gas stations have it too, both home and work.

The MN Hot Rod Association has a downloadable (and printable) list of non-oxy stations in MN. The Bobby and Steve's on 37th and Central Ave has it if you need it and happen to be going to Diamond's for pancakes.

We got there late, but had a big feast at the double D.

The weekend involved an extraordinarily large amount of good food.

It was a rather good weekend, really.

Lets see, great food and hundreds of miles on a motorcycle. usually equals a great weekend.

I cannot recall when a weekend of that combination was not a good weekend.

    Hey all,
I'm riding the bike to work tomorrow as I suspect some of you are as well. I have an appt. at 10am in Brooklyn Park and I'm wondering if anyone wants to meet up roughly in that area for lunch around noon.

    Just throwing it out there...

Too far from where I work to fit in a lunch, but otherwise I would.

I was having a beer in the Town Hall Tap and started talking to a guy who has a 1971 Norton that he bought new. It only has 5000 miles on it. Apparently he likes owning it more than riding it. I think he likes to sit in his garage and admire it.

I was proud of myself because when he said he had a British bike I guessed Norton. Now I have useless bike trivia taking up space in brain to add to all the useless literature, movie and tv trivia in there. No wonder I can't find my keys. My brain hard drive is full of trivia.

Mad Jack's doesn't suck. Sister city, Brooklyn Center, has the 50s Grill which is fabbo. Lynde's, on the Osseo/Brooklyn Park border, is fantastic.
