    Click on the video below
This little trail is in a national park just outside of Durango Mexico
The start is were I camped for the night
As you can see, the edge of of the trail is a 1000 foot cliff
There was a tree that fell across the trail. I moved it and pushed it off the cliff. It free fell for about 5 seconds before it made a sound. If I would have went off the cliff, nobody would have ever found me

After thousands of miles on my GS, some of my scariest moments in Mexico have come on this Italica 150 scooter.
It seems to have a mind of its own
It is a scooter made Mexico and it a piece of junk
But it is also a blast to ride
every time a take it out it is a race with every other scooter owner on the road
My next trip RTW will be on a Italica for sure
The Gs just makes it too easy :D

I have had 62,000 views so far on my RR and I am just getting started.
But perhaps half of those are from my mom making sure I am still alive:D:D

I lost internet connection thru out most of the weekend
The beach towns around here are really interesting
Lots of hippy types looking for a relaxed lifestyle along the beach with cheap food and accommidations.
We found one place that would rent you a bed for the night for only $4
For me, I would rather sleep in my own tent:D than sleep in some hippy bed
But you can have dinner for 2 or 3 dollars. Beers are a dollar
But you can also go out and have a gourmet dinner like we did last night. You can tell these guys were trying to create something very special and it showed.
    Yum
But dinner set us back $50......that would buy a couple of weeks of street tacos
So in the end, the beaches south of Puerto Escondido are a great place to get away and get what you want.....whether it be to live like one of the hippies, go naked on the beach and live on $10 a day or you can go big and stay at the place we are staying, eat gourmet food and work on your sun tan out by the pool. The only thing this place doesn't have is good wine. And I am missing it.........maybe Mexico City.......that's where I am heading next
