Don't know if it'll work during the race, but this link is worth a shot

I remember that year - this spectacular photo appeared on the front page of a lot of newspapers the next morning:

I seem to remember that Brelsford and another rider collided, causing the Harley's fuel tank to split open and dump its contents onto the hot engine - resulting in the fireball above.

All I know is that Motors has it listed as live on their site and that last year, while those of us in the good old USA were waiting for whatver pitiful tape-delayed bone that Speed would throw, folks in the UK were watching the Speed feed live on Motors.

Did the Motors site show all the Daytona weekend AMA road races or just the 200?

I have to head home tomorrow from my desert oasis, which means I'll get to watch the 200 on Speed. :huh

But, I'm recording the flat track too, so that counts right?

Looking forward to seeing motorcycles racing on the big screen. It has been a long winter. My iPad was good enough for the first WSBK races, but that 55in plasma rocks.

To give some perspective, the gap from P1 to P2 in AMA Superbike @ Daytona FP1 is roughly the same as the gap from P1 to P18 in World Superbike @ Phillip Island FP1. Competitive, it is not.

First practice session for Daytona SportBikes is in the books at Daytona International Speedway. Triumph riders were Jason DiSalvo in P8, Elena Myers in P18,

Big gap in Superbike but Hayes has been on that bike with that same crew for years. Eslick and Cardenas are both on new teams, new bikes and new crews. The gap will close.

Beaubier's performance is really impressive. Even with the new Hondas so fast out of the gate, Beaubier is way out front.

One caveat is that Daytona results don't always translate to the rest of the season.
