I'm less than 50 feet from the birds and shooting through dual pane windows. So focus is tricky on some of them.

The bird shots are with my 'good' camera ( that means so big it need it's own trailer ) which is A Fuji Fine Pic S6000 fd with a 10X zoom (28 - 300 mm) & 6.3 Mega Pixels..... I can shoot RAW with it but don't do that a lot unless I have time & good light and am really trying for high quality pictures. Pretty much wasted on putting stuff to be viewed on a computer screen. The higher resolution JPG's do just fine & the camera cycles faster....

I have a small Canon that you probably see me use the most I would think but..... ; the best 'on the fly' camera is an older Fuji F-10. Works wonderful with just one hand and set at 800 ISO, it stops most bluing unless I am really being silly. :type
