Ok, I remember you guys posting about it but I didn't realize it was the same event until the Friday before.

I've ridden by there a million times but never stopped. It's definitely a pirates hangout.

Finally got the KLR out for a ride today with Indy.

No doubt, I will like it but I wouldn't if I were you, it might not come back! My friend Bob goes up every 3 weeks or so, going to try and go up with him when I have a break inn obligations.


I found I have one video clip from the weekend worth anything, I guess when I thought it was off, it was on and visa versa so there is a bunch of 2 track and only one section of single, luckily, it was on the A loop. If it ever loads, I'll post it. There was one video where I cam up on a bike on it's side and 2 guys nealed over it with a helmet laying by the back tire, I thought someone was pinned under it and they were trying to extract him. Luckily they were just repairing it.

BTW, GCMK - No TTRU sticker on the 640 but I did come across a group of riders in need of help, seems of 5 guys no one had a master link, I had 4 with me, one fit, he was happy, his day was saved.

Is anyone headed to the horizons unlimited event in NC from sept 7-9?

I`m thinking about it.Maybe taking the long way down by way of Blue Ridge Parkway & Skyline Drive.
