Looks like Saturday's ride will be from Ochoco Summit to Little Willow reservoir, back to the summit via a loop on NF2705 and Little McKay Rd.

Sorry I forgot to resize before I crashed.
Put about 135 miles on. Went up 33 from Ochoco Res, wound around and through some bits of snow here and there up to about 5" deep, ended up back on 27. Up that and since I got a late start I didn't get out to Little Willow Creek Res, ended up on 2720 looking out off a point when I figured I better start back. My map showed the road I was on as a spur road, Google Maps now shows it as on through. There was lots of fresh elk sign there though!
There was one spot south of there, idk the road, where I hit more snow, the last was an uphill patch that went around the corner and out of sight so I turned around.
Man it was good to get back in that area!!:clap:clap Birds singing, sunny and hot enough I really needed to take some layers off, gorgeous scenery, plenty of deer(at least 20), elk sign, chipmunk, sage rats, great stuff.

After heading back to Pville I went to the Pville Res, think I've only been there 2 times before, and never to the campground at the end. Kinda disappointing it's such a dead end road situation.

When I pulled in to the BLM station where I parked and guy followed me in a we talked for a good long time. Come to find out he's a fellow ARV'r and lives on the east end of PVille. Dirtsoup is his name here. we talked about rides in the area and past rides to remember. Great guy, hope we get to share a trail sometime Steve.

DRZ has never had a full days ride onnit.
I wish like anything that I would have ridden it the day the TBlume, Phelix and my klr went out for the day!,,
I have enough work in the bilding to keep me busy all weekend,,but I'd rather push it all to the side, wait until the last minute, and make some,,"I had to ride motosickles" excuse to my understanding customers,,,hell ,, I might die tonight in my sleep,,(I should be so lucky),,so I say,,ride someplace and try not to crash!,,I'll follow you guys!
(for as long as I can stand it)

Or,,road bike attitude,, longer day route,,more pavedment,,,yer call Doggitter!

If it's looking lousy, it's brunch at Turd-holes.

If it's looking really nice it's road bike to the 3 rivers casino for brunch.

If it's looking 50/50 its doggitters choice and the katoom. To brunch. At the mapleton store.

All of these rides end with that...um, dude G funk over for dinner at my place.

I'm in for a road ride on my big white vibrator if that's the prefered. :rofl90 mile fuel stops and I'll do what I can make of it.

Buddy was telling me about the Noonday and a couple other mines SE of CG, sounds pretty interesting. Packing snowshoes to finish getting there doesn't.
