    Thanks!

It´s my first scooter, have rented som before this one,
I choose it for the looks and size.

So far I´m very satisfied with everything, a bit bigger than the small ones and smaller than the Megascooters.

See link to our "Scooter adventure":

    http://members.chello.se/stephan.dorsch/scooter/index_en.htm

The total trip was 1250 miles in six days, average stage about 200 miles.

Top speed is 55 mph, but I kept 50 to to not stress Scootris, fuel consumpion was about 64 MPG.

    This is my wife's Scarabeo

I found some EbaY add ons, like the saddlebag.

Just bought this pair, good runners, but could use some parts and tuning.

1981's use a 6 volt system, and this one suffers from gas starvation if ran at top speed for a length of time, I plan on getting a new carb for it. It has about 3,000 miles.

1982's use a 12 volt system and were partially redesigned overall. The first half of shifter operation releases clutch before shifting, making smoother shifts than the crashbox on the '81's. This one is missing the front rack, and has about 1500 miles.

This one surges at constant speed, though will not die like the '81 does. I will eventually clean the carb on this one.

They are too much fun, and remind me so much of the '65 super cub that my dad taught me how to ride on.
