Sure. That one must have a unique drive system to the main rotor. Most have only an electric motor to start the rotor spinning (often an automotive type starter motor), once in flight they auto-rotate. They're not lifting thrust rotors in the sense of a conventional helo - they're more of a dynamic wing.

Haven't seen that footage before. Hope he makes a speedy recovery. He lives it on the edge, for sure... Hope he's able to continue, once he's recovered.
