We plan on riding the TET in early April from North Georgia to Mass. We have some of the GPS tracks. Any chance any of you have all of them? Also need any ride reports I can get for the TET. If you all want to share what you have that would be much appreciated. We have been looking for a way to get our bikes back without riding them. Looked at rental trucks through Uhaul etc but they are $1,000. Any ideas?
    Thanks all.

There is a form to fill out in the second post of this thread.

Where did you get some of the tracks?

Sorry to ask the following if the answer is already somewhere in the thread - but for the route from NJ north, is it dirt/trails or simply paved back roads? I suspect the latter but figured would ask.

Anywhere on the TET/TETS is a mixture.

Here's a 2009 ride report of ours from an earlier version of the TNJT from north to south. The TET is a bit different now, but with a similar road/trail mix more or less.

    Howdy All,

Perhpas this was already posted but, what is the recommended min gas tank range for the TET? Should I assume 120 miles or 150? I'm just getting prepped for this summer's trip.

    Thanks.

I think the longest stint between fuel is 110, or there about. But some keep strange hours, close for vacation etc. I would guess that you are never farther than 30 miles from fuel off route at any location.

To answer the question directly though, neither. I wouldn't feel comfortable under 200 miles.

Thanks. It looks like I should be taking a litle extra then. I can probably make it 140 miles with my tank as is.
