Put one on a couple months ago, great feel and looks very durable. Only thing was I had to grind a little off the shift lever as the lever hit the slave cylinder when trying to upshift.
....many riders of us, from the German use it. I never heard of any problems. Got it now for 30.000km.
hi , i recieve today the kit "Sigutech" , install is very easy the difference between Magura and Sigutech pistons : Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Magura clutch slave cylindre with origin piston Uploaded with ImageShack.us and with "Sigutech kit piston" Uploaded with ImageShack.us bye bye
I just ordered one complet kit, and i have a question. The original magura was mounted with a paper seal. The Sigutech came with a paper seal + an O-Ring. The flange is approx 4mm longer on the sigutech, so it could be possible that they planned to put the paper seal + the O-Ring, but to me it's a bit strange and I don't have any information What do you think about that?
Do you mean just the rubber cap, or metal parts as well? Goodridge and others do rubber caps. You can find them on eBay. Search for 'brake nipple cap' Or buy at: http://www.spiliotis.gr/
this looks like an awesome alternative to spending nearly (US)$200 on entire slave cylinder!! thanks for the pics jm65
Hello G, for the 640 slave there is only the paper gasket. O-ring only for LC8 slave or for 690 slave (paper gasket + o-ring) Greetings Andreas Berger Sigutech UG
I wish I had seen this before I put mine on this weekend. Looks like I will be doing some filing. Quite a challenging ride to work today with the shifter sticking up. :eek1 I got mine used from another inmate so no instructions. Did you guys move the ball bearing over to the new slave? I didn't and now it seems like the lever isn't working until part way thru the stroke. I guess I should put the ball in there.
I have one on mine, it rides like charm, no grinding just pure plug and play, it works and looks nice too;-)
I just got home and was able to compare the 2 slaves. Looks like the same. I must have a wee bit of air in my lines. A fresh bleed is in order. I filed off the shifter some as well as the edge on the slave.
