If so, good. It is very evolutionary, and I for one won't be running out to get one. BMW clearly played it conservatively, so my 09 wont appear to antiquated.

Just because they aren't identical doesn't mean they aren't competitors...The GS is certainly losing some marketshare to the multistrada. For most GS riders, the GS is a sportish/touring bike, not an enduro.

13 added horses but only 4 ft.lbs. of useble torque added, & 20 lbs+ heft (not for Me) I'm sticken with my 09. & maybe some day poolside will add the cool to his line-up
