Jeepers Aaron - You sure found some new love for your 690! I didn't think you liked that bike? I'll get a chance to see it in MX and can hardly wait. I'm driving the truck this year.

Beaney is that the 450RR rear tank or the stock tank painted black? I know the 450 RR uses the same tank as the 690 except that the tank is not cut for the fuel pump.

It's amazing what will happen when you can actually ride a bike without having it die randomly. 63 hp at the wheel as opposed to 62 at the crank helps, along with the extra 12ft/lbs:D I plan on having 8 gallons on board for MX this year, I'll be running the 170 mile stage wihout stopping for fuel:lol3 The 690 is the perfect bike for the MX1k, longer chassis, big power and lots of fuel.

Time for your morning coffee, eh? :rofl

Stock 690 tank is already black, the 450 RR tank is bigger and shaped differently, and both have the same cutout (690 has a pump and 450 a plate with a barb there).

Also the threaded inserts are in the tank for the fuel level sensor and the pressure regulator, just needs the holes cutting, the tank bolts straight on but you will need an underslung exhaust pipe

Yes I meant: is that the stock 690 tank painted white or is it a tank from a 450RR. When I was in Australia I took a look at Jaybo's bike and his 450RR tank looked a lot like the 690 tank only it looked like the cutouts for the fuel pump were molded in but not drilled out. The mounting looked the same and the tail plastic also looked the same.

So the real question is: will the 450RR tank bolt onto the 690 if you run a low exhaust?

New Billet Clutch & Brake levers to suit KTM 690 Enduro, these have been specifically designed for these models by Rally-Raid Products,as the EXC clutch lever, whilst similar looking, will not actuate the clutch switch,so not giving full power. These will be available by end of Feb 2013.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

They look great. :clap I have been searching everywhere for shorter and matched clutch and brake levers, but have resorted to sawing the oem levers... these will be on my shopping list when released.

Hi all, I fitted some LED indicators, but they don't flash. I'm presuming that I need a new indicator relay?? I've located the relay behind the headlight, but can anyone point me in the right direction in where I can get a suitable LED indicator relay??

    Cheers

Common problem, most any bike parts store will stock Relays for LED turn signals.

It might be a plug and play-type device or you might have to snip, strip and reattach two wires. None the less it's a very straight forward parts swapout.
