Having seen your trip in symforum, have to say what a wonderful country with those beaches and so few people: all the road and the beach for a single person; that´s paradise.
If I could ever figure out and understand how to post pictures, I'd gladly show off my Burgman with its custom seat . ( by the way the Lardy is listed for sale )
Mike, how are ya? What are ya having done to the motor? They did the Ecu on my scoot. I'll be over on the Rock August 26th, on our way through to Labrador. On the Vstrom not the SR50.
I actually don't know and I didn't ask! I looked on their website but it's not listed (yet). They've got all kinds of cool stuff. Here's the link: http://www.horsepower-farm.com/bikes/
Heya! I sent the motor in for the full meal deal polish/porting etc etc to get the highest gain he's doing these days. It's been a long wait to get the damned thing back. As for Lab, they're paving it at an ungodly rate! Damn! you're not hitting the east coast are you?
My New to Us Kymco Agility 125. My poor dog has been scooterless since last Dec when I almost moved to Kansas and sold all my scooters for moving cash. Today was like christmas when the dog ran outside and saw the scooter. He was on it waiting for me when I came out. Its not as fast as my old Ruckus, but it sure does handle better.
That's a lot of "moveable ballast" - is he strapped to the scooter somehow? The cat goes with us on the boat, in the RV, in the truck... I don't think she'd be amused if I took her on the scooter. On the boat... Captain Jim
I use to strap him. But I find its better if he falls and rolls then Fall and drag. Out of all the scooters I have owned he as fall off twice at very slow speeds and jumped off once. The time he jumped he was leashed and I crashed hard. So no more leashes. He has never been hurt. I got stitches. We always keep it down below 25.
Sorry about the stitches, Dennis, but the thought of the dog jumping off while leashed made me laugh out loud. (I dunno, it seemed like a good idea at the time. ) It looks like your 4 legged companion is stoutly built... that would be like tossing out the anchor on a fast moving boat! Thanks for sharing that with us. Jim
