It started at 1:30 est here. Wilsons in the lead, Baggetts second and Rattray third. The TV guide says 4:00 also. What the hecks going on? There's no way they are showing MX all day, is there?
Whatever year its a great race. They're hauling the mail! I love the outdoors! Can't wait for Red Bud.
Correct, reruns from last year. This years races @ 4. Rattray is on a 450 this season, I always thought he looked too big for the 250.
Rattray is super fit, too. Watch for him to keep charging hard late in the race when other guys are spent.
Moto 1 is playing live on Fuel right now....7 minutes in, and #7 has not crashed...yet Edit: Moto 1 in the books..................... ***Spoiler***** Stewart - Suzuki Milsaps - Yamaha Dungey - KTM Metcalf - Suzuki Shorty - Honda Strong start to the day for both Stewart and Milsaps. Dungey salvaging points after a bad start, that kid can run hard at the end of a race.
Nowhere for Bogle... The race for first was awesome, that is what I call real racing. 3 guys, three different bikes, clean racing. Baggett is an animal! Roczen has got to be pissed.
I've said it before,Baggett carries so much corner speed....incredible. Euro style riding worked for 12 and 70.
I thought JS's fastest was a 2:04. The 250's have a tougher track, though, it's looking pretty rough. What a finish in the 250's!!! Chupacabra!
Hangtown has worked out well for JS7 and team yellow bike. No crashes even...:huh A 1-1 is a good start, let's see if he can maintain the "no crashing" thing. Dungey riding to second was predictable but Alessi pulling off a third was pretty cool to see.
if nothing else Stewarts going 1-1 proves that when guys are talking about "testing" as reasons for lack of results etc etc is mostly a lot of hooey. gee how did he win with so little time for "testing". I knew that idiot would do something stupid like this.
I guess the new Yamaha is a . Awesome ride by JS and what a great job he did by taking the high road at the finish line interview.
Not all bikes are created equal, just like in any other form of racing, some guys go quicker with less testing on one bike than they would with months of testing on another (see BMW in WSBK...). Add to that the ability of the team to respond to testing and provide viable improvements. I can't see how going quick and not crashing on this bike makes him an idiot? I thought according to public opinion he was an idiot for wasting his talent by crashing?
